my second grade grand daughter told us about these two eagles her class watches
My kindergarten class is watching and we love Jackie and Shadow.
My students and I are so intrigued. 
I am watching this in my math class
My junior high school
At work
My employees
patrons at the library watching!

When my grandson comes over the first thing he wants to do is check the Eagles. He is 2
This view is very calming in a very stressful work environment.

I wait every morning for the wake up chortles All year long. 
​The tree creaking reminds me of the swing on my grandparents porch.
We have had this live feed up in our office for over a year now
My class had field day today and they were having serious J&S withdrawal!
I've been on the road since 6am. I was thinking about them the whole time
I can't go more than a few hours without checking on them. 
I have it streaming on my phone during my entire work day, and when my boss isn't here (which is most of the time) I have the volume at max so I can hear the beautiful relaxing sounds
I love them
So peaceful.
I love to have this on when I’m going to sleep so soothing.
​Very peaceful watching them and exciting at the same time.
I get completely mesmerized just sitting and watching both of them. Then I remember I have to snap out of it for a few moments to actually get something done!

​I want to come back as a bald eagle. Very little contact with people. Luv it.

Bald eagles are awesome.
I come here to watch the eagles and zen myself out when the real world is just to much.
I am sitting here alone at the computer with a beer and just love this moment.. but I don't feel alone.

​Something interesting happened here...I have the channel on all day, with the volume on and my 
windows open. I now have crows gathering on my back lawn by the open window! 
I played a video on the FOBBV site today that had Jackie vocalizing and a crow responded to it
my parrots get loud if I dont bring them into the computer room to watch the eagles, they Love Them

How old are the eggs now?
Is there a possibility that the eggs had chicks that they could not break open the shell and died inside the egg?
Are the eggs still there?
they still havent abandoned the eggs? I havent watched in awhile..isnt this unusual ?
​Are there any plans to remove the eggs in order to determine what went wrong ?
I can’t wait to see those ADORABLE eggs hatch, we’ve waited a long time to see those babies hatch

Our Simba was such an obnoxious, entitled, strong willed boy that he kept us entertained 24/7 and we loved him.

Watching nature is the best instructive experience.
I have learned so much about eagles. I love them even more and will financially support eagle causes in the future.

I can't think of anything more serene and beautiful than watching an eagle watch a california sunset on a lake.

observer

I have been here a few times hard to keep up with kids and work

I don't know what the heck I did before I found this cam. I don't want to do anything else now

was so broken hearted and my 2 yr old grandson kept saying eagles fly,eagles fly bye eagles 
about 30 days past the typical 35 days of incubation. Wow J & S gave twice the effort.

Sad day, but knew it was coming. Looking forward to the next generation.
Longer they stay with the eggs, longer we get to watch them
As sad as I have been about watching J & S incubate and then leaving the eggs behind, I remind myself that nature has been getting along without us for millions of years.
J & S are such great parents. Shadow was so diligent at turning the eggs last year that he turned Cookie and Simba a time or two even after they had hatched. 
Such a treat to be able to observe these amazing birds. Even watching them sleep is mesmerizing. 
The beauty of what we have witnessed is more than the eagles but a lesson in life. It has been humbling and inspiring. Many things learned here should be modeled in human behavior and life.

Dear J n S, I thought you were going to teach me about parenting or maybe my lesson would be about the joy and trials of growing up a B.E. Instead, it was a much needed lesson on shared grief. Thanks.

Today is not the end, but the beginning of their future
We must stay tucked on a perch and see what happens

I’ve been watching for a month. Now I have to watch next year! I fell for these two! 
this is relaxing to me, nature rules here, I can put a lot of trust in that.
I have had this nest on in the living room almost continuously since the days of Stormy, it's kind of like my living live window, some people have aquariums to look at, I have this 
It's on my bedroom TV right now too and that's where they will remain.
The nest will be here as well as some of us. I remember back when J & S weren't coming around yet, there was 9 of us watching and chatting. We had fun and still learned.

Holy moly we have an eagle!
Was just about to comment how melancholy it was to see the empty nest with just the eggs...then BAM! Instant eagle!
I am pretty sure I have stopped breathing. Amazing. 
Bird watching takes a lot of patience. I need more coffee.

What if J&S know about the camera and know about us and they are just messing with us. They're meeting in another tree and planning their next move to confound us.

Well, realistically, size wise it's perfect for setting over the eggs so they can keep building...
I am thinking the reason Jackie was out all night is she was weaving the straw together for her hat.

​I think I found the hat on amazon called “men’s beachcomber straw hat Hawaiian beach accessory” it definitely looks like it!
Now all the nest needs are some tiki torches and a pupu platter.

Next thing will be a hammock between the V branches with umbrella drinks.

My husband and I just stood here with our hands over our mouths and silent.
I yelled “oh no!” Woke up baby.
I really did not want to see this but glad I was present.
I'm kinda glad I was here to see it live, and at least close that chapter. 

Very fascinating to witness their behavior before, during and post eggs. I'm glued to this today.
​That raven was very cautious to make sure the eagles weren't around first.
Raven is just living its life same as Jackie and Shadow who can now move on and take us with them

this isn't a sad day. This is what we've hoped for so that there is a defining end to this chapter and the beginning of the next for J & S
Those eggs have now provided protein for a another wild thing.
​Maybe the Raven was just there to transport the soul.  
Must remember that the Ravens have a job to do as well. Did we mourn for the fish families when J&S brought a fish to the nest? Nature can seem cruel to us…Circle of life right in front of us.
​I also see the Crows also have a job to do, they are the clean up crew. The squirrels are next after the Crows.

Fiona is like a housekeeper. She always shows up around the same time.

​The hat...what a fitting end to it.

​I'm a children's minister & the children are in awe w/ J&S. I show the live cam on our big screen before service starts & have been able to turn this experience into a great lesson. The nest cam inspired me and I hope to inspire these children especially in a confusing world we live in. I give huge props to 
FOBBV for this amazing experience. Faith in the Eagles :o)

This nest cam is an interesting metaphor for me - sometimes Nature takes a wide swing into what we feel to be negative territory, but Nature will persevere and will find normal balance once again.
just what I needed to ease worry and remind me of what is important in my life. Nature is a wonderful reminder of those things.

​We could all learn something from the wonderful eagles and apply it in our daily lives
If you have a problem with life today just think what would Jackie and Shadow do to rectify this !! Maybe bury it in fluff !! Maybe but a new hat !! Maybe bring your gal a stick !! Or just fly away
